Battling the time and overcoming production challenges, our team this season created a masterpiece - an amazing 4X4 All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) for the adrenaline-fueled BAJA SAE India in Pithampur. Firebolt Racing from BIT Mesra won first place in the BAJA SAE Sales Presentation, overcoming numerous hurdles. We were honored to earn the OC Choice Award, which recognized our event-altering influence. Firebolt Racing is accelerating towards innovation. This BAJA ATV by Team Firebolt Racing exemplifies the BIT Mesra's cutting-edge engineering prowess, as well as the devotion and hard work that are synonymous with the Birla Institute of Technology. Firebolt Racing anticipates further triumphs in BAJA SAE 2024 and beyond, demonstrating once again that innovation and teamwork lead the way.

Their student-designed BAJA ATVs have consistently impressed in competitions like BAJA SAE India. BIT Mesra had the distinct honour of welcoming the President of India, a momentous occasion that highlighted the institute’s commitment to technical excellence and innovation. During the visit, the President acknowledged the vital role played by BIT Mesra in shaping the future of technical education, fostering creativity, and encouraging groundbreaking research. This prestigious recognition served as a source of immense pride for the institution, motivating students and faculty alike to push the boundaries of knowledge and skill. The event reinforced BIT Mesra’s mission of contributing to national development while striving for global academic recognition, inspiring the community to aim higher in all spheres of education, research, and innovation.

At the Defence Expo 2022, Firebolt Racing showcased its indigenously developed All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) before India’s Prime Minister, senior officials from the Ministry of Defence, and representatives of DRDO and BrahMos. Built with rugged performance and adaptability in mind, the ATV demonstrated its potential for deployment in challenging terrains and defence mobility operations. The recognition it received highlighted the team’s engineering excellence and the role of student-led projects in advancing national defence capabilities.
